The west central Brazil is an area that can be divided into two parts:
The Planalto, formed of savannah area, with a well defined climate in 2 periods, rain and drought, and width the "Mato-grosso-goiano", lowlands from which come the sources of the Tocantins and Araguaia rivers.
The village of Pirenópolis is at the limit of these reliefs. The village lies at the foot of Pireneus, part of the division of planalto.

Description : Shrub with a subterranean root from which the branches leaving up to 2 meters high.
The leaves are alternate, marked 2 to 5 forms part of well marked oblong, with toothed edges.
The flowers are yellow, large (6-8cm) joined the number from 5 to 10 flowers located at the end of the tige.Les sepals are the number of external 2 and 3 largest domestic and broad.
The petals are 5 in number, marked with a longitudinal line roughly dotted on a bright yellow background.
