The west central Brazil is an area that can be divided into two parts:
The Planalto, formed of savannah area, with a well defined climate in 2 periods, rain and drought, and width the "Mato-grosso-goiano", lowlands from which come the sources of the Tocantins and Araguaia rivers. The village of Pirenópolis is at the limit of these reliefs. The village lies at the foot of Pireneus, part of the division of planalto.

Habitat : Is in loose parts of vegetation, rather plane part. Flowering : August to January Fructification : March to May Description : Plant width root system rizomes and stems which can reach 20 to 60cm in height. It's a fibrous roots system. The stem is shaped flattened and the leaves are tapered. The flowers are yellow.
