The west central Brazil is an area that can be divided into two parts:
The Planalto, formed of savannah area, with a well defined climate in 2 periods, rain and drought, and width the "Mato-grosso-goiano", lowlands from which come the sources of the Tocantins and Araguaia rivers.
The village of Pirenópolis is at the limit of these reliefs. The village lies at the foot of Pireneus, part of the division of planalto.

Description : Small shrub with a height of up to 2 meters, possessing a large branching during the flowering period.
The leaves are simple, opposite and welded to the stem, AEVC a thick crenellated edge.
The inflorescence appears somewhat grouped forming a protruding spikes at the end.
The flowers are united at the base and has a cylindrical tubular corolla, light color between white and yellow in the center and pink lilac on top.
